Ginkgo Biloba is the Earth's oldest surviving plant genus . 200 million year old fossilised leaves have the same delicate form and veining as today. It is native to China, where the tree is revered as a symbol of sacred knowledge and ancient wisdom, and is often planted in Buddhist temple gardens. The longest surviving tree is 1400 years old.
